Do I need an onward ticket to enter Canada?

You'll usually be asked to provide documents such as:

2. proof of funds to:

4. cover your expenses while you find work (if you don't already have a job offer)
5. pay for your return ticket
6. proof of medical insurance for the duration of your stay
